General Information for our Tutors and Group Leaders

Our Library: Special book collections and other resources such as videos are maintained in our Learning Centers in Bellevue and the Snoqualmie Valley. The larger of the two collections is located in Bellevue. Volunteers can check books out from either location. Books may be checked out for one month at a time. Unlimited renewals are allowed. Learning Center Hours: In Bellevue we are open from 9 am to 8:30 pm Monday through Thursday. On Friday, the hours are 9 am to 1 pm. The Snoqualmie Valley Office is open 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Parking: In Bellevue you can park anywhere in the lot except for the two rows closest to the stores. At the Snoqualmie Valley office, park on the street.

Meeting Places: Most tutors prefer to meet with their student(s) at our learning centers; however, sometimes the pairs meet in other public locations due to convenience. Check with the King County Library for a list of possible meeting places. We require all tutoring to occur in a public place.

ESL classes meet in a variety of public places across the Eastside. Detailed information concerning the location of classes can be obtained from a staff member.
