While Tobias writes for parents, the information is applicable to learners of all ages.
Seven Kinds of Smart by Thomas Armstrong. Plume Division of Penguin Books, 1993. This is a very readable explanation of
John Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences Theory and many suggestions for putting this theory into practice with adult learners.
